It has aggressively dived into the enormous potential of Abruzzo’s unique terroir and ancient varieties by placing a contemporary spin on indigenous grapes such as Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, Pecorino, Passerina e Cococciola.
 
The deep dark red Amaranta Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP impresses on the nose with notes of plum, cherry jam, tobacco, cocoa and balsamic notes, reminiscent of coniferous forest. On the palate, a sweet start. The wine is also balanced, with wonderfully integrated tannins.The wine is matured in new French oak barrels for more than 6 months. A wonderfully intense wine of the premium range of Tenuta Ulisse. The 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo shows in this wine its entire class, elegance and flavor depth.
