Established in 2013 by Mal and Jayne, Helmsley Wines is an independent wine merchant and importer in the beautiful market town of Helmsley, on the edge of the North York Moors.

Over the years, our business and range have grown, but our approach remains the same: friendly service, delicious wines and great value. We love discovering new wines and sharing them with our customers, whether you’re looking for an everyday favourite or something special for a celebration.

Our shelves bring together familiar favourites and exciting discoveries from around the world. Alongside popular grape varieties, you’ll find lesser-known gems from smaller wine-producing countries—perfect if you fancy trying something new. Every bottle is chosen with flavour, quality and value in mind.
