Ripe tannins and fresh acidity support a palate of Morello cherries, strawberries with wonderfully elegant finish. Can chill slightly in Spring/Summer.
1 x Les Pivoines, AOP Beaujolais Villages, France- 12.5%ABV
Juicy, super ripe and softly perfumed on the nose, this is full of the flavours of summer fruit compote. Ripe tannins and vibrant acidity present an easy drinking wine with a soft, approachable finish.
1 x Baron de Badassière, Carignan IGP Côtes de Thau, France - 12%ABV
This lighter expression of Carignan displays a nose of fresh crushed cherries. The palate is fruit-forward and crisp, the acidity carries through the juicy finish.
1 x Fantini, Sangiovese Terre di Abruzzo, Italy- 13%
Garnet red in colour, this wine offers an intense, expressive nose of vibrant red fruits, including cherries, complemented by subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, bright notes of strawberry and morello cherry are enhanced by gentle hints of vanilla from oak ageing. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, the wine shows structured, firm tannins, lively acidity, and a long, persistent finish.
1 x Montsablé, Pinot Noir, IGP Haute Vallée de L'Aude, France- 13% ABV
Cherry red colour, intense dark cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, a rich round palate with notes of red summer fruits such as raspberry as well as darker berried fruit. Nicely integrated oak adds to the structure, and lends a spiciness to the long finish
1 x Terrazze della Luna Teroldego, Rotaliano, Trentino, Italy- 12.5% ABV
A fruit-forward and vibrant red with aromas of ripe red cherry and forest fruits. A savoury palate with juicy fruit balanced by fresh sappy acidity. Ripe summer pudding and redcurrant characters mingle with bitter chocolate, liquorice.
