The Pinot Noir grapes are planted on the hilly areas of Zapallar Vineyard. The mid-slopes of this area have a unique soil composition of clay layered with granitic soil, giving complexity to the wines. The fruit is cold soaked at 8C for five days to extract aroma and colour, which is especially important for thin-skinned Pinot Noir. The result is a wine with a very aromatic nose and pronounced notes of raspberries and blueberries combined with subtle notes of hazelnut, caramel, toffee and mild toast. The palate is smooth with round tannins alongside a fresh fruit character. Vibrant acidity gives the wine a bright and perfumed finish.
