Menetou-Salon is the third largest appellation in the Upper Loire with 535ha of vines planted on the hills made up of limestone sediments dating back to the Upper Jurassic Period. Clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian marl soils yield wines that are beautifully complex.
 
The vineyard is situated near Bourges, South of Sancerre, on gentle slopes. The soil is composed of clay and limestone overlaying Kimmeridgian marls. All vineyard processes are carried out in an environmentally-friendly manner, adapted for each terroir.
