CASE OF 12 BOTTLES

Geno is a brand produced by the acclaimed Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, who are located in the Évora sub-region of the Alentejo.  One of the most dynamic wine regions in Portugal, it is known for great value, easy-drinking wines with rich fruit and good acidity.

The Geno white is made from local Portuguese grape varieties Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro. Antão Vaz is one of the most prized varieties of the Alentejo and is well suited to the warm, sunny climate, retaining its acidity very well. The grapes are large and with tough skins, producing firm, full-bodied, well-structured wines with tropical fruit and tangerine flavours. Arinto is a versatile grape, grown in most of Portugal's wine regions and adds refreshing acidity to the blend, as well as an apple, lime character. Last but not least, Roupeiro is a land-locked grape that grows in a long north-south strip over by the border with Spain. It is added to the blend for its aromatics and citrus, floral flavours. Great quaffing wine to enjoy with family and friends.
