CASE OF 6 BOTTLES
Château Haut-Bages Libéral was founded by the Libéral family, who came together in the early 18th century to assemble some of southern Pauillac’s finest vineyards. Their focus on quality was recognised in the 1855 Classification, when the property was awarded ‘Grand Cru Classé’ status.
The vineyards are split across two distinct sites. One half sits on the gravel-rich Bages plateau, lending power and structure. The other directly borders Château Latour, with clay-limestone soils giving a vibrant freshness and a marked minerality to the wines.
The wine displays a deep purple colour. The nose is expressive, with aromas of fresh forest fruits and hints of warm spices. The palate is supple and expansive, with fine-grained, silky tannins. The finish is long and refined, lifted by a lively freshness
