Textbook Pinot Noir of the bright, fresh and fruity kind. Red plum compote and an earthy, bracken-like quality on the nose. Brambley berries and a savoury aspect on the palate with a hint of gamey richness. Balanced with some grippy tannin and a bright acidity on the finish.
Cave de Turckheim Vieilles Vignes Gewurztraminer, AOP Alsace - 14%ABV
Rich generous, crystallised lemon and lime marmalade, with other subtle aromas of tea rose, lychee and honey. The palate is rich, rounded and ripe lifted by a bright floral and honey characters and complimented by lush acidity. Scrumptious!
