Château Larose Trintaudon has 190 hectares of vineyard, some of which lie adjacent to those of Château Latour. The soils are a mix of fine gravel, sandy gravel and clay. The vineyard is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, with an average vine age of 30 years
 
Planted upon one of the oldest layers of Médoc gravel, called the 'Pyrenean layer', this wine delivers a very deep, ruby colour. On the palate, sweet spices of vanilla, cinnamon and ginger entwine with flavours of dates and dried figs.
