Grapes destined for Luis Cañas Reserva undergo a second selection process based on weight and size to ensure optimum ripeness. Luis Cañas were the first winery in Spain to employ this process and the precision of their approach is translated into the wine: aromatic intensity with followed by fine nuances of sweet red berry fruit on the palate, with polished, well integrated tannins .
 
Deep cherry red, clean and bright. Good aromatic intensity with notes of ripe red fruits over a base of elegant balsamic. In the mouth is tasty, mellow, fresh and with fine nuances of sweet fruit. It has volume and the tannins are well integrated and polished. In the aftertaste, touches of very ripe fruit and nuances of liquorice appear making it last in the palate.
